To celebrate Israel's 62nd Independence Day - join us for our Third Annual Falafel 5K Run/Walk and Camp Ruach Fun Run. This year our fun, family-oriented race will begin and end at the Asheville Jewish Community Center.

Registration
Register online at www.active.com. Race day registration begins at 8:00 am at the Asheville JCC. Race day registration for the Fun Run begins at 11:00 am at the Camp Ruach Booth at Celebration Israel, 229 Murdock Avenue.
Everyone's a Winner!
Free falafel sandwich and Tec-Shirt will be offered to the first 250 registered 5K runners! You earned it, and Goldie's delicious falafel is just a short stroll away, at Congregation Beth Israel's Sixth Annual Celebration Israel, a festival of Israeli culture, 229 Murdock Avenue from 11:00 am -4:00 pm.
Camp Ruach Kids Fun Run
Kids of all ages are welcome to join us for our super fun Camp Ruach Kids Fun Run at Weaver park. The Camp Ruach Kids Fun Run at 1:30 pm will be held entirely within the greenway trails of Weaver Park. Along the way there will be obstacles, bubbles, decorations, and excitement! All participants will receive an awesome hat, a free bounce house ticket, and a delicious healthy snack from our friends at Earth Fare. Come early and stay after for Celebration Israel!
Celebration Israel
To honor Israel's 62nd birthday, Congregation Beth Israel is hosting this festival of Israeli culture, featuring all manner of Israeli food for sale, a Jerusalem market, Israeli music and dancing, arts and crafts booths, and more! Celebration Israel is a fun-filled, family friendly event on Sunday, April 18th from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm at Beth Israel, 229 Murdock Avenue.

5K Run Only
Prizes will be awarded to the first finisher and runner-up overall (male & female) and to the top three in the following age groups:
12 & under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34,
35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 70 & over.
