Back by popular demand, the first event in our "Parties Around Town" Series is a one-of-a-kind experience. Whether you are a fashionista, a wanna-be clothing designer, or you just like to be entertained -- this event is for you! Enter the runway show with one of your designs, or just come along to enjoy the raffle prizes, entertainment, and "wow" moments. Local celebrity judges will select the winners. Tickets are now available at the JCC front desk, or at the Fine Arts Theatre. Seating is first come, first serve and we anticipate a sell out! 

Brother Wolf Animal Rescue is assisting with this event. Kindly bring a bag of pet food or toy to donate to the shelter.

Design categories include:

• Professional Designers Seeking Gig (Both self employed as well as those that maintain studio space)
• I Sewed it Myself (any person that completed a sewing course or self-taught and would like to showcase their accomplishments)
• Drag Queen (tasteful, professionals or 'almost' professionals welcome.  Must want to have fun and keep in mind that there may be children in the audience)
• One in Asheville Couture (for those who think outside the box.  The person may have taped, stapled, glued, lashed or pined the garment)
• Availble at a Local Business (showcase heavily styled clothing from a local thrift or new boutique)
• Up cycled one of a kind day or evening wear (this is a redesigned or reconstructed garment)

Entry fee per garment is $18. You may enter different garments in more than one category- prizes will be awarded for best of category and best of show.
