Do you have stylish items in your closet that are in excellent condition but you haven't worn in years because they aren't the right color, fit or style for you? Maybe you even have a few items that you bought on impulse and have never worn, but you feel too guilty to donate them. If so, now is the time to clean out your closet and get rid of those items! Bring them to Chabad House so we can use them to raise money at an upcoming Ladies Consignment Sale. We are looking for stylish, quality brand name clothes in all sizes that are new or gently used. We are also collecting prom/cocktail dresses, jewelry, handbags, shoes and accessories in excellent condition.
Please note, the sale will not accept discount brand clothing from stores like Target or Wal-Mart (Merona, White Stag, etc.), clothing that is stained, faded, torn, or clothing with interior tags removed.
This fundraiser could not be easier and is a win-win for all of us: you will get a "clean closet and conscience" because you will have donated to a wonderful cause, and Chabad will get much needed dollars to use toward their high quality programs that serve our entire Jewish community.

Details:
~We're collecting ladies' clothes for all seasons, but we especially prefer Spring and Summer items

~We're collecting clothing, handbags, accessories, jewelry and shoes

~Items must be received at Chabad House by March 21...You can drop off clothes Mon-Fri from 9am-4pm or Sunday from 10am-12pm

~Items must be clean and preferably not wrinkled (clothes on hangers are welcome but not necessary)

~Items can not be stained, torn or discount brands (i.e., Wal-Mart or Target)

~Shoes must be in excellent condition with minimal scuffs or signs of wear

~If you have wire hangers you can donate, please include them too!

During these tough economic times, we think this will be an easy way to make make a valuable donation to Chabad. We will gladly give you a tax donation form when you drop off your items. Thank you in advance for your contribution.

Finally, we are in need of volunteers to help sort, tag, and hang clothes. Please let us know if you could help with that. If you have any questions, please feel free to call Caren at 225-3488.

Sincerely,
Caren Zivony (Co-President of Chabad Hebrew School PTO)
Lara Hume (Co-President of Chabad Hebrew School PTO)
