The 5th annual Asheville Jewish Community Center Hanukkah 8K will take place VIRTUALLY on Sunday, December 13, 2020.
The JCC Hanukkah 8K is a community-wide celebration of the 8-day Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights. Proceeds of the JCC Hanukkah 8K will benefit The Asheville Jewish Community Center.
Participating in the virtual Hanukkah 8K will help you stay connected to other runners in Asheville, motivate you to stay healthy and active during the winter months, allow you to choose your own course and start time, and still participate in a competitive race complete with prizes for winners! Participants in the Asheville JCC’s Virtual Hanukkah 8K will run an 8K course of their choosing on Sunday, December 13. They will log their time via a log button on the JCC website, and submit photographic proof of running. Winners will be announced on Monday, December 14, when all times have been received. Prizes will be mailed to winners following the race.

Interested in participating in the 8K as a walker? Below is a map of a 5K designed just for walkers who want to participate in the Hanukkah 8K who aren’t yet ready to run the full distance.
