AmiciMusic presents Jazzical 2: A Perfect Blend of Jazz & Classical

AmiciMusic returns to the JCC on Saturday, February 21 at 7:30pm with another exciting program entitled “JAZZICAL 2,” a sequel to their show last year featuring the fantastic crossover music of Claude Bolling.  Pianist and Artistic Director Daniel Weiser will be back with the phenomenal flutist Lea Kibler plus bassist Daniel Iannucci and percussionist Justin Watt to perform Bolling’s First Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano Trio that was first released in 1975 and stayed on the Billboard classical charts for over 10 years!  One of the first works to successfully crossover between the classical and jazz worlds, it still sounds fresh and innovative even fifty years later, offering both classical music and jazz enthusiasts a truly wonderful listening experience that seamlessly blends these two distinct musical traditions.  They will also perform a fun Salsa Suite for the same instrumental combination by Alan Weinberg.  You won’t want to miss it!
