Every runner gets a coupon for a FREE falafel sandwich redeemable that Mothers’ Day evening at Cafe Israel, a new indoor event hosted by Congregation Beth Israel. Don’t miss the authentic Israeli food, wine and Hi-Wire beer; live music and folk dancing demo; inflatables and children’s activities; and the silent auction. All registered participants for the 5K will receive a race shirt (unless the t-shirt free option is chosen).
Celebrate your mom and all moms by running this race. In honor of Mother’s Day, a portion of each registration will be donated to the YWCA of Asheville’s MotherLove program for teen parents.
The Kids Fun Run will be at 4:30 pm on May 8. Kids ages 2 – 12 are invited to participate in this 1/4 mile fun run, complete with obstacles and festive elements.
