
Water Fitness
Join fellow community members for a low-impact group exercise class that supports social and emotional health as well as cardiovascular health, muscle tone, flexibility, and balance with reduced stress on joints. These classes are held in shallow or deep water, and are suitable for all fitness levels.
Deep water fitness classes are aquatic aerobics workouts performed in the deep end of a swimming pool, where participants are fully submerged and their feet do not touch the bottom. This creates a high-intensity, no-impact exercise environment that builds strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness. Attendees must be comfortable with deep water. Reserve your spot beginning at 6 p.m. the day before the class.
Schedule: Tuesdays 10-11 AM / Thursdays 10-11 AM
Shallow water fitness classes are aquatic aerobics workouts performed in the shallow end of a swimming pool. It is a great entry point into water fitness for beginners and non-swimmers.
