Weather Closings
During inclement weather, we try to post our delayed openings or closings by 6 am. Please check our website, WLOS Channel 13, or call 828-253-0701 ext. 215. Our website and telephone recording will have the most accurate information.
Holiday Closings
The JCC is closed for the following 2023/2024 holidays:
- Thanksgiving (Thursday, Nov. 23 and Friday, Nov. 24, 2023)
- Winter Holiday (Sunday, December 24 and Monday, December 25 2023) pool is closed both days
- New Year’s (Monday, January 1, 2024) pool is closed this day
- Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (Monday, January 14, 2024) pool is closed this day
- Passover (dates to be added)
- Memorial Day (all day Monday, May 27, 2024) pool is open this day
- Junteenth (all day Wednesday, June 19, 2024) pool is open this day
- Independence Day (Thursday, July 4, 2024) pool is open this day
- Labor Day (all day Monday, September 2, 2024) pool is open this day

Parking is available at both the main facility accessible from Hillside Street and at the aquatics facility accessible from Clyde Street.
