Holiday Closings

The JCC is closed for the following holidays:

• Thanksgiving
• Winter Holiday (December 24th – December 25) all facilities closed
• New Year’s Day (Monday, January 1) all facilities closed
• Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – all facilities closed
• Passover (dates change annually, please check calendar) all facilities closed
• Memorial Day – pool is open
• Junteenth (June 19) pool is open
• Independence Day (July 4, 2024) pool is open
• Labor Day – pool is open

Weather Closings

In the event that Asheville City Schools announce a two-hour delay due to inclement weather, the JCC will automatically delay opening by two hours (opening all programs at 10am). 

In the event that Asheville City Schools announce a closure due to inclement weather, the JCC will automatically delay opening by two hours (10am for Shalom, Aquatics, & JCC Kids Full-Day) while we determine if a full-day closure will be necessary or if we can open after the two-hour delay. We will announce by 8am whether or not the JCC will open after the automatic delay.

Parking is available at both the main facility accessible from Hillside Street and at the aquatics facility accessible from Clyde Street.
