Shalom Tuition Rates

JCC Kids After-School

2025/2026 school year tuition rates:

  • Full-time (attending up to 5 days per week): $462 per month
  • Part-time (attending up to 3 days per week): $350 per month

Children enrolled in JCC Kids must first become JCC members ($60 per year). A $55 registration / materials fee is due upon registration. This fee is non-refundable and covers special events and STEAM project supplies. A completed and signed JCC Kids enrollment packet is due within two weeks of registration. 

AJCC Swim Team

Both year round and summer league participants must have an annual JCC membership. There are also annual team registration fees and tuition is billed monthly. The monthly rates are variable depending on age and skill-level of the athlete. Inquire with AJCC Head Swim Coach, Will Scoggins at  headcoach@jcc-asheille.org 

Athletes who are participating in year-round USA Swimming meets may have to pay additional fees for USAS Membership and Meet Fees.

Financial Aid

The Asheville JCC accepts applications and provides need-based scholarships to children at Shalom Children’s Center, AJCC Swim Team, JCC Kids Afterschool, and Camp Ruach. The JCC provides approximately $20,000 annually in scholarships that serve an average of 15 children per year. Scholarships can be paired with child care vouchers. Asking for financial aid can be uncomfortable, so we offer a confidential application process that is as easy and equitable as possible. Financial Aid Application Deadlines:

  • Shalom, JCC Kids after-school, and year-round swim team scholarship applications due July 15 for the 2025/26 school year
  • Camp Ruach and Tikvah and summer swim team scholarship applications due by March 1 annually
