Summer Pool Access
Join us for a summertime tradition that has been alive at the Asheville JCC since the 1950s! The JCC’s 2026 summer pool season is Sat., May 23-Mon., Sept. 7 (Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend).
** Individuals and all members of a family unit age one and older must first be a current annual member of the Asheville JCC.

The David Zimerman Pool has a retractable cover, making it possible to swim outdoors during summer months and indoors during colder months. Our heated, handicapped accessible, 6-lane, 25- yard chlorinated pool features the only 1-meter competition-grade Duraflex diving board in Asheville. The water depth begins with a 3-feet, 6-inch shallow end and increases to 12 feet in the deep end.
The JCC Aquatics Center is equipped with men’s and women’s restroom/changing rooms that include handicapped accessible showers and lockers in addition to an all-gender family restroom/changing room. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, pool members have access to the Pearlman-Rothman Family Plaza that includes an outdoor pavilion with a kiddie pool and splash pad.
