Asheville JCC Refund Policies

The Asheville JCC offers varying refund policies specific to department and program. For specific needs, please contact our main line at 828.253.0701 and ask for the department from whom you are requesting a refund. Below are some general guidelines to keep in mind. Thank you!
Membership – General membership is ongoing and processed through ACH on an annual basis. Refunds can be requested within 30 days of charge. A person may cancel their annual membership upon receiving notification for the upcoming annual renewal charge. A person may cancel at anytime, but refunds are subject to review. Please contact Brook Hudson at 828.253.0701 ext 420 to discuss specific needs.
Jewish Lifelong Engagement – Please contact Geri Garfinkel-Gershon, Jewish Lifelong Engagement Director (ext. 111)
Pool Membership – Pool Membership refunds are handled on a case by case basis. Please contact our Brook Hudson at 828.253.0701 ext 420 to discuss refund opportunities. In brief, we will need to verify the need or reason for the refund and determine if it is necessary given the detail provided by the member. If necessary, we cancel said transactions and initiate the refund. After doing so, we email accounting to process the refund.
Camp Ruach – To receive a refund from Camp Ruach, we must receive a written request at least fifteen days prior to the start of camp.
JCC Kids – Refund requests must be received by the 15th of the previous month in order to receive a refund. We do not provide partial month refunds.

Donations and Fundraising Events– We do not provide refunds for donations or fundraising. All proceeds benefit JCC Programming and the community.
