Brunch B’Yachad: Special Guest, Violinist Dr. Steffen Zeichner

Dr. Steffen Zeichner is a versatile violinist, composer, and recording artist whose work spans jazz, classical, Klezmer, and pop genres. Based in South Florida, he is the leader of 5 String Swing, a dynamic, jazz violin-driven ensemble, and performs regularly with the crossover string group Fox Chop Trio and the Alhambra Orchestra, where he serves as Concertmaster.
An accomplished studio musician, Dr. Zeichner is credited on multiple Grammy-winning and nominated albums, notably featuring as soloist and concertmaster for George Benson’s album, Inspiration. He has shared the stage with legends like Chick Corea and Gloria Estefan, and serves as Adjunct Lecturer of Jazz Violin at Florida International University while maintaining a global private studio. Dr. Zeichner holds a Bachelor of Music from Indiana University, alongside a Master’s and a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Miami.
