The only race in town that ends with tasty falafel returns Sunday, April 26. Run, jog, walk, or Splash + Dash with an optional 200 or 800-yard swim!

Don’t miss out on the Asheville JCC’s Falafel 5K on Sunday, April 26, 2026! Run, jog, walk, or Splash + Dash in the Falafel 5K to enjoy beautiful springtime in North Asheville, enjoy a delicious falafel, and compete to win valuable prizes.
More than your average 5k! Turn your race day into a multi-sport excursion with a Splash + Dash! A limited number of athletes can register to swim 800 yards in a professionally timed “Splash” before heading over to the start line for the Falafel 5K “Dash.” We will track your times for both events, but your transition time will not be counted. We are also holding a youth 1K run in the field beside the JCC Aquatics Center.
Back by popular demand! The JCC Aquatics Center will host a special private pool party for all participants and their families following the event. More details to follow.
Registered participants will receive a race T-shirt and a voucher for a free falafel.
