Community Simchat Torah Celebration

This collaborative event between the Asheville JCC, Congregation Beth Israel, Congregation Beth Ha’Tephila, the Jewish Secular Community of Asheville, and Carolina Jews for Justice is a community celebration of the Torah that includes workshops, refreshments, community candle lighting, a Torah tour, and the Torah chant.

Featured topics of workshops are PJ Library, Jewish art, Synagogues, Midrash, and justice from a Jewish perspective.
